![]() ![]() She graduated from Everett High School in 1944, married for the first time in 1946, and she and husband William managed a successful and growing farm and dairy business, while involved in numerous church and community activities until his death. ![]() ![]() Judy grew up in Everett in a large household and welcoming home. She was known as “Judy” since elementary school when a teacher continued to mispronounce “Wilda” and her sister, Mildred, gave her the name, “Judy”. Judy was the last surviving sibling of six and she cared deeply for her four sisters and brother: Doris, of Elmira, NY, Phyllis, of Everett, Mildred of West Palm Beach, FL, Shirley of Wycliffe, OH, and George of Wycliffe, OH. She is survived by her sons, Rod Cober and wife Susan, of Cincinnati, OH and Layne Cober, and wife Karen, of Everett three grandchildren: Andrew Cober (Hilary) of Reston, VA, Justin Cober (Nicole), of Arrington, VA, Ben Cober and (Melissa), of Kirkland, WA five great-grandchildren: Ava, Jasper, Nehemiah, Cabot, and Brooks and many caring nieces and nephews. ![]() They were married for 52 years, until Robert’s death in 2010. Cober of Somerset, who adopted her two young sons. Bill died tragically in an automobile accident in 1955. Hoover at the Raven Run Church of the Brethren in Saxton, with whom she had her two children. On April 20, 1946, she married William L. She was born on Septemin Everett, a daughter of the late J. (Judy) Cober, 90, of Bedford died Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Church of the Brethren Home, in Windber. ![]()
